The market leading travel technology group, ATCORE, has today announced that Richard Francis has joined the group as Chief Finance Officer (CFO).
Richard’s appointment will help further accelerate the strategic growth plan of the ATCORE Group, focussed on selling Atcom SaaS globally, diversifying into new segments within the travel industry and developing modules in addition to the full Atcom Suite offering.
This announcement follows both easyJet Holidays and DER Touristik, two of Europe’s largest travel companies, signing as new customers in 2019.
Richard has extensive experience in leading finance and operations of several technology companies, both large and small. Most recently Richard was CFO of Netcentric (acquired by Cognizant in Nov 2017). Before joining Netcentric, Richard has been assisting private equity backed companies with raising finance. Previous roles include CFO positions with The Myriad Group and Day Software. Richard has an honours degree in Economics and qualified as a Chartered Accountant with Deloitte.
ATCORE CEO Dave Cruickshank commented: “We are thrilled that Richard is joining our team. Richard has a very strong background in helping global software companies deliver significant growth and scale. ATCORE is well positioned for accelerated growth and I look forward to the significant role Richard will play in helping deliver our ambitions plans.”
Richard commented " I am delighted to be joining Atcore at an exciting time. With an enviable set of customers and being a market leader in the reservation and e-commerce space in the travel sector, I am looking forward to joining the team and playing a part in the future growth of the Group."
